Box simulation — indicative

This simulation shows exactly which boxes can enter and exit your storage compartment smoothly. By entering your door dimensions and box heights, the configurator calculates to the millimeter what can pass through the opening.

The inter-level gap represents the free height between the top of your box and the underside of the upper level — useful if some objects stick out of your boxes (bottles, rods, equipment...). We recommend 20 mm as a standard value, but the choice is yours.

The levels are adjustable to the millimeter — you can fine-tune them during installation.

Structural base Minimum structural height required below the first rack level. Even without a door threshold, the base of the system needs a non-compressible minimum of 35 mm.	mm

The reinforced solution for rear garages and configurations without ceiling fixing

The sliding rack Nova Racks – Series V was originally designed for rear garages in campervans and converted vans when the upper structure (transverse beds bed frames slats or height adjustable beds) does not allow reliable mechanical fixing from above.

In these configurations stability must be ensured exclusively through floor fixing.
Series V answers this constraint with a reinforced structure that is stiffer while preserving the core Nova Racks principles: full accessibility modularity and fast installation.

🔧 A design built for real world van constraints

Rear garages often involve specific constraints:

beds positioned across the width of the vehicle
non load bearing bed frames slats or bases
absence of a rigid surface suitable for top fixing
floors that may be partial or discontinuous depending on the layout

👉 For these reasons any top or compression fixing is deliberately excluded on Series V.

The structure is therefore designed to be securely fixed to the floor with increased rigidity ensuring:

perfect stability while driving
full compatibility with rear beds
a reliable durable installation with no stress on sleeping components

💡 A versatile series not only for the rear

Although primarily intended for rear garages Series V can also be used in certain specific side garages especially when:

the ceiling is not structural
beds are height adjustable
compression fixing is not possible

In these cases Series V is a stiffer alternative to Series M thanks to the reinforced use of 20×40 aluminium profiles and floor fixing.
